Mission Ready: Next-Gen Innovators

Role: Senior Design Lead


Overview:

As the lead designer, I took the initiative to propose a formal brand identity for our annual Bring Your Kids to Work Day to the site lead. My goal was to transform a standard corporate event into a memorable experience for employees and their families by creating a cohesive narrative. I brainstormed several event names and concepts, ultimately selecting Mission Ready: Next-Gen Innovators. This title directly leaned into our site identity as an aerospace hub, making the experience feel both authentic and aspirational for the children attending.

I developed a custom visual identifier designed with a modular icon system. This allows different locations to swap out specific program icons to better reflect their local leading initiatives, ensuring the branding feels authentic to each site while maintaining a unified corporate look. This identifier was applied across all event collateral, including swag giveaways such as bags and water bottles. The identity was so well received by leadership and participants that it has been adopted as the official logo for future events across other company sites.
